Kathmandu,
Chief Justice Khil Raj Regmi Tuesday said that the judiciary should not be made a ‘place of experiment’ while restructuring the judiciary as the political parties reportedly agreed on the new structure (Constitutional Court) of the judiciary. CJ Regmi made this remark while addressing a function organised here to mark the Law Day. Hinting at the tentative agreement reached among the political parties to establish a separate Constitutional Court, Chief Justice Regmi said that they should consider the procedural difficulties and the problems in human resource management while inserting a temporary institution of judiciary in the new constitution. It would be better to strengthen the Supreme Court and every concern regarding justice and judiciary should be addressed from within the structure of the existing judiciary. President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, Vice President Paramanda Jha, ministers, justices of the SC, government officials, diplomats, lawyers, media persons, among others, attended the function organized in the SC premises.
