The meeting of four major political parties--UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress (NC), UML and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) discussed 11-province model in a meeting at BICC building on Friday.
Speaking with reporters after the meeting, UML Chairman Jhalanath Khanal said that meeting among the parties is heading towards the positive direction in cordial manner.
“The meeting has resolved many differences among the parties. We will continue talks on Saturday too,” Khanal added.
Earlier, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Krishna Sitaula said that parties might agree on 11 provinces.
Journalist barred from entering premises
Meanwhile, journalists were barred from entering into BICC premises and left stranded on the roads. They were allowed to enter into premises in earlier meetings.
